Process Engineering TA3 responsibilities for an offshore oil and gas platform. Ensure the safe operation of facilities by leading extended hazard assessments, leading HAZOP action closures, and being a key contributor to LOPAs, and HAZOPs. Deliver technical work packages, MOCs, model outputs, system optimization guidance that increases production, eliminates waste, and reduces cost.

Process Engineer for Groundbirch (a shale gas and condensate asset), and Gold Creek (a light oil exploration asset). Asset focal point for Ensure Quality Production (EQP), GHG, Amine & Glycol Management, and Proactive Technical Monitoring (PTM). Contract Holder for Amine and Glycol. Led annual facility reviews. Developed and maintained process models and operating envelopes.

Provided local facilities engineering for well pads, pipelines, and the gas/condensate plants. This required leading multidisciplinary MOCs and troubleshooting issues relating to PACO, electrical and instrumentation, rotating equipment, static mechanical and integrity. Frequently worked with technicians in these disciplines to build my practical knowledge and catch issues in proposed projects early in the development. Worked closely with maintenance planners and operations technicians as well. Leveraged MTO, economic evaluation tools, and MOC/FSR to facilitate the end-to-end process of opportunity realization. This includes preparation and participation in Pre-Start Up Audits and Statement of Fitness (SoF).

Solely responsible for engineering support to all well pad facilities and gas pipelines for a year and half, followed by responsibility for a small gas plant, the water ponds, and the water transfer infrastructure for another year and half. This was followed by engineering support for a 210 mmscf/day gas plant. In these roles, I lead safeguarding/PHA, Ensure Safe Production (ESP), Manage Threats and Opportunities (MTO), and Proactive Technical Monitoring (PTM) activities. I provided technical support to maintenance and operations to maximize reliability, efficiency, and safety. I conducted many interdisciplinary MOCs. Here are some of my key accomplishments: • Administered concept selection, detailed design, and close out of a 900k project to modify several piping headers and install pig barrels in order to shift gas from Montney to Saturn. The project was under IFC budget and schedule. - Managed contractors throughout detailed design. - Collaborated with projects for consistency in pig barrel design. - Coordinated with regulatory, land and ER for amendments, proximity agreements with third party. • Created a Unisim model of a refrigeration and dehydration gas plant and HTRI models of the heat exchangers as part of opportunity framing for a project to increase NGL production. Successfully showed that the change should be delayed until the next turnaround. - Worked with a heat exchanger TA for review of my HTRI models, a process TA for review of the Unisim model, and a rotating TA to understand the capacity of the propane compressor. - Leveraged operating limit diagrams and ullage plots to understand limits and expected future production. • Provided process engineering and operations support to the completions team as part of an assessment on doubling injection rates. My input was used as a key part of their evaluation. - Identified 3 viable potential solutions, provided high level cost estimates, and pipesim models for supporting evidence.

• Working on circuit and system modeling of Photo-voltaic Array, MPPT and battery using Simulink • Designed dynamic testing for two Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPT) • Completed dynamic, efficiency and static testing using; Termite, Psoc Designer, and Arduino • Present information on the team and answer questions at outreach events to 40-100 people • Attend safety workshops, leadership conferences, and contribute to track testing

• Launched a partnership with the Schulich School of Engineering to a promote female enrollment into engineering; recruiting and organizing 7 females to run the program • Collaborated with 3 clubs to plan a Research Night, personally approaching over 20 potential guests Planned an event for High School Girls with ConocoPhillips called Equality in Energy

• Critically reviewed 300 portfolio submissions and 50 written midterm exams • Communicated expectations and moderated a design thinking activity

• Developed code to automate the data acquisition and the analyzing process of atomic stick-slip data at sampling rates of 100 MHz from an Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) using Labview • Coded to fit the mechanical noise measured in AFM cantilever signals and to manipulate the data for the stiffness of force sensors using Matlab and Mathematica
