Captivate Presentations designs and builds effective B2B presentations, whilst also offering services in messaging and presenter training. Designing and building PowerPoint presentations for global companies, my priorities were to preserve, re-enforce and grow company branding whilst creating effective presentations. Attention to detail, time management and the ability to quickly adapt to specific client requirements were essential skills; having takin on Project Manager Roles I also dealt directly with clients. Unfortunately my contract was terminated due to financial problems within the company, and through no fault of my own.

Majority of work involved working on a small scale residential extensions and renovations. Carrying out surveys and creating CAD drawings and models in Google SketchUp and AutoCAD in order to assist the lead architect with getting small scale residential build projects through planning permission.

A fixed term internship programme within the School Improvement Offices which offered the opportunity to work on the UI for a new website. Having analysed the existing website, I set up meetings with representatives from different sectors, in order to establish a basic structure for their proposed website, and suggest to them new ideas which would improve the UI and UX.

I was given the opportunity to work alongside the production team, helping them to create props and draw up sketch designs for sets.

Christmas decoration schemes to residential and commercial premises. As well as producing CGIs, brochures, leaflets and flyers, my day-to-day tasks also included advising on design schemes, stock management, and updating and editing website content and imagery and managing company social media channels. As it was a purpose-created role within the company, I had to quickly adapt to organising my own workload, projects and time very quickly. Working as part of a close-knit team meant being incredibly flexible in my work methods in order to support other team members and meet tight, highly-pressured deadlines. I was promised training and opportunities to expand and further my career, and despite having enjoyed my three years there I felt that I had gone as far as I could within the company.
