Russell Pearson

Russell serves as the Global Chief Technology Officer for PwC's Advisory line of service. As a member of the Advisory Global Leadership team, he is responsible for driving innovation and deploying advanced technology capabilities, including Generative AI, across PwC's network of firms. Prior to his current role, Russell led Automation for the US Advisory practice, enhancing the firm’s service delivery through cutting-edge technology. He also previously served as the Global Oracle leader for PwC. With over 32 years of experience, Russell has supported clients in Europe and the United States through large-scale business transformation projects. He specializes in ERP implementation, revenue cycle and finance function process design and implementation, cost analysis, and enterprise performance management. Russell holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Russell leads the Global Oracle Alliance for PwC. This Alliance team focuses on bringing the best of Oracle's enabling technology to serve PwC's clients around the globe .

Russell has led system implementations and process improvements with some of the countries largest Power and Utility companies in all aspects of their business, including their Finance functions, supply chain, customer service and IT operations.
