Accountable for the introduction of Alcatel as the 2nd 3G service Vendor into the Orange UK network. Establishing E2E programme governance, managing 4 Project managers and associated work streams interfacing into the Orange UK 3G launch team, and Steering Board. Liaising with France Telecom managed all aspects of the system acceptance for 3G Utran products OSS/BSS integration, mobile handset testing, radio network planning and pilot network deployments to meet Orange business operational support requirements Upon product acceptance managed all primary aspects of network rollout before handing over to Business as usual. Contract Value ~ £30M

Reporting directly to the General Manager managed NEC 3g Systems Programme Management team which constituted 5 Project Managers and multi disciplined teams across the engineering, implementation and support domains to deliver 3rd Generation products and services to Three UK. Inclusive of establishing PMO office was accountable for systems integration and acceptance for Utran network products and with partner Siemens networks accountable for the 3rd party management of subcontractors and the National deployment of transmission network, RNC deployment and national Node B deployment.

Reporting to the Vodaphone KAM Programme Manager held responsibility for the management and development of 4 Project Managers involved in introducing new products and services into Vodafone UK network for GSM RAN Core and Optical SDH networks. Managed customer relationships to ensure deliveries were in line with business strategy. Global Senior Project Manager managed the Technology Transfer Programme for Fixed Radio access services into Ericsson Mexico acted as the Product group professional services interface for the following countries USA, Austria and Italy. Operation Manager –Joint Venture with Cable and Wireless to develop FWA solution held line management responsibility for 20 staff created department from scratch which provided global pre sales and post sales operational support for the Ericsson Fixed Wireless Access Product.

Systems Design Engineer responsible for the HLD and LLDs to support re design of CTF345 Command and Data Centre for the Defense Communication Network. Design supported the network design for the following inter connect sub systems PSTN network, HF VLF LF and Satellite Communications

Programme Manager for BSKYB Account Broadband Technology Refresh Programme and the BSKYB New Voice Network Programme value €21M. Established Programme Governance, contract management, stakeholder management planning and dependency management, resource management systems test and integration, from pre production platforms – production network. OSS integration Netcool and & NMS platforms Solaris/ Oracle/MSQL, LLU implementation and handover into NOC support. Providing ongoing business development support to Account teams. Acted as the Total Vodafone Project Manager for OSS-RC Utran upgrade P5 Network. Accountable for Business case analysis definition phase / Scope of works and work stream managers, vendor management HP CSC & Mycom, alignment of software upgrade test strategy, Programme plans and reports to Vodafone Programme Board.
