Org: Core Health Effort: Functional Correctness About: Functional Correctness is one of the three primary health pillars for the Facebook Apps; other two being - Stability (crash reliability), and Performance. Its mission is "to ensure that the Facebook Family of Apps just work". Contributions: - Piloted the use of machine learning classifiers to mine through large volumes of user feedback to surface the top meaningful buckets of issues that users feel the most pained by, thus kick starting the effort that later came to be known as Functional Correctness. - Collectively scaled the effort from an experimental project with 1 Facebook App product team to an established program run by 28 Facebook App product teams (with other tooling & product partners). - Leading this cross-functional effort to now scale across 5 partner orgs (Facebook App, Instagram, Messenger, AdsManager and Workplace), also setting the long term direction and vision for Functional Correctness. - Actively working as the solutions architect for a framework to systematically address user feedback on the applications, as well as prevent future failures through centralized instrumentation strategies.
