About

I received my M.S. with thesis in Computer Science at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2012. I worked as research assistant on large-scale sequence assembly algorithms 2009-2010 in Peking University. Prior to that, I received my B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University in July 2009. I am the recipient of various awards in programming contests and mathematical modelling contests, including ACM-ICPC World Finals. I coauthored several papers that appeared in top venues including VLDBJ, EDBT and Bioinformatics. I also filed more than 12 patent applications.

I joined Mininglamp as assistant to CTO in October 2014. During the first couple of months, I participated in deep discussions of strategies, communicated with key accounts and partners, and assisted in internal management. Later in 2015, I established my project team from scratch, consisting of business analysts, data scientists and engineers. My team delivered high quality softwares to customers including Gome, Sinoway Credit, Postal Savings Bank of China, etc. After the acquisition of a startup on data capitalization in March 2016, I undertook the new role as data product director. The key techniques were user profiling and data on-boarding. My team explored different opportunities in the lean way, and helped customers like HNA, Vanke, BMW to realize the power of data.
