Recruits, trains and provides a powerful network for Democratic women interested in running for office in Louisiana. Event-planning, fundraising, communications.

Aided Director of Institute in assessing the success of educational reforms in providing accessible, high quality educational for all students and, furthermore and producing the research needed to guide the future of school reforms. Attended school board meetings and creates reports holding public officials accountable to shape policy. Recording and interpreting data of research compiling resources to inform fellow students on education in New Orleans.

* Office of Student Involvement * Acted as a first point of contact for over 600 students and families transitioning to the university * Provided peer mentoring for 40 first-year students on topics such college transition, study skills, time management, and course selection. * Lead workshops, presentations, and discussions to provide students and their families with information and perspectives on campus life.

* In the Public Policy Project * Conduct research on the ties between election cycles and hate crimes, presenting findings and policy recommendations to Policy Project staff * Attend briefings on human rights, racial justice, voting rights, education and other key issues on behalf of the Policy Counsel * Track bills, conduct legislative research, write opinion editorials, develop informational items for staff members and external guests (ex. web content, project pages), and made policy recommendations on issues related to social, economic, and racial justice * Participate in coalition meetings, sharing the Policy Project * s perspective to over fifty organizations at a time, and report back to Policy Counsel with notes and analysis of meeting.

Works in Judicial Administrator s office to meet clerical needs and serve as support to administrative staff.

* Ambassadors help staff the Admissions Office for over 3 hours each week, assisting with reception, phones, mailings, meeting with students and parents, and other duties as assigned. * Participate in activities to help prospective students learn about and enroll at Loyola University New Orleans. * Conduct daily, group and programming tours to provide insight and perspective. * Plan, execute, and partake in programs such as President's Open House and Fall Open House.

* Under the President's office as an appointed position, membership on such committee includes: * Work on hiring a Chief Diversity Officer, engaging in interviews and deliberation following a timeline with a hire, and currently working with Chief Diversity Officer. * Develop and recommend programming, curricular, and other university-wide initiatives addressing diversity. * Sits on Campus Climate Assessment Committee encouraging participation in survey including tabling and program. * As one of two student representatives, work to advance inclusive student enrollment efforts; to improve the diversity of our campus; and to develop a more supportive retention strategy while fostering an environment in which everyone in our community feels a sense of safety, belonging, and representation.
