* From my voluntary work at TheatreCraft, I secured a Christmas placement at SOLT in their Media & Marketing department. * New skills I developed there included: * ・ Using content management systems to update the Theatre Tokens site. * ・ Collecting and showcasing information for the TKTS booth * and their Show of the Week feature. * ・ Proofing the Get Into London Theatre promotion site as well as using * Google Analytics to track the progress of it on the launch day. * ・ Using analytics on Twitter and Facebook to observe patterns * and success’ on various channels, and conversing with Twitter * for future campaigns.

I was asked to work with Society of London Theatre once again as a Social Media Assistant for the Olivier Awards, the UK's most prestigious theatre awards. During my time working there I was helping to create and manage content for social channels ahead of the event. On the day of the event I was photographing part of the event, then getting that content organised and sent to the relevant areas of the marketing team to be published online.

It was such a joy to be on the DMT for TheatreCraft at the Royal Opera House for their 10th event, my responsibilities on the day were to be on TheatreCraft's social media platforms (Twitter and Instagram) posting exciting content, interacting with visitors of the event via Twitter and keeping a buzz online. My activity on their social channels helped to push their Twitter over 3,000 followers on the day with more following post-event too. You have to be a very happy and welcoming person to work front of house as you're constantly working with the public, something I find very easy to do! Theatre is a passion of mine so to work in a building all about theatre was fantastic, I had a wonderful time interacting with the public from all walks of life coming to see shows. We also had a lot of responsibility in the upkeep of the theatre, making sure cleanliness and presentation was of the highest standard and we took pride in doing so.

Working in a small team over the busy Christmas period, learning to acclimate to the retail environment and being able to tend to every customer and advise them on camera equipment with patience and kindness.

I spent all of my education years at Sponne, from the beginning of Secondary School to doing my GCSE's and A-Levels here at their Sixth Form college and still have many positive connections with the school.
