Implementing a particle filter with Kalman update for autonomous robot localization, fusing LiDAR and odometry data to provide precise pose estimates to the controls subsystem. Applied Monte Carlo optimization and Gaussian noise modeling to improve localization accuracy and robustness under dynamic field conditions. Collaborated with controls and perception teams to synchronize localization data streams, ensuring consistent robot state estimation across distributed subsystems.
