Ruddra Kantaria

I am a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo with a passion for building impactful software solutions. I co-founded Quetzal, a quantum education startup that teaches quantum mechanics worldwide, where I have helped upskill over 2,000 students from more than 25 countries and established partnerships with the University of Waterloo and The Perimeter Institute. I also recently won the Hack the North 2025 Hackathon with BeyondSight, an accessibility-focused project leveraging Python, SLAM, YOLO, Whisper, and ElevenLabs. Currently, I continue my journey at BlueDot as a part-time Software Engineer, developing ETL pipelines, data transformations, and scraping unstructured data to enhance our data infrastructure. I enjoy tackling challenging technical problems, learning new technologies, and applying my skills to create meaningful, real-world solutions.
