Ruby Egit

My practice is focused on class actions and insurance law. I have trial and appeal experience and have independently managed and argued many complex contested motions. I act for clients across Canada. My legal career began at Branch MacMaster in Vancouver with a practice focused on insurance and health law. In 2018, I relocated to Toronto and joined the litigation department of a leading national law firm where I maintained a broad litigation practice. I was delighted to return to Branch MacMaster in 2021 to focus my practice on class actions and insurance and manage the firm's Toronto office. In addition to my work at Branch MacMaster, I regularly volunteer for Pro Bono Ontario and spend time mentoring law students and new lawyers.
