I served on the campuses of Purdue University as well as the University of Iowa while working with college athletes in assisting them in developing their faith and personal growth.

I helped run an outpatient Behavioral Health Services department that served the Rio Grande Valley area. I also designed an Employee Assistance Program that was marketed to local business ventures where I developed my consulting skills and ability to diagnose and help resolve business and workplace conflicts and issues.

Over the past two years, I have researched, developed and installed a full range of Business Continuity protocols. In doing so, I have achieved certification as a LEAD IMPLEMENTER, meaning I am able to advise companies on how to plan in order to meet unexpected business interruption challenges including everything from weather-related challenge to active shooter or other man-made crises and disasters.

In each of these positions, I was responsible to manage a caseload of at-risk youth and their families. My role was to do whatever was necessary to help these families stay together and attempt to prevent the children from being removed from the home. This involved emotional, psychological, financial, and often inter-personal support that would help families find new ways to cope with stress and turmoil. It was here that I first honed my professional skills in leadership, therapy and social work.

* I conducted research examining the relationship between leadership and its effects upon the motivation of followers while considering the effects of the generation and philosophical orientation of the follower. The results of this research will be of vital interest to people and businesses everywhere as we engage the future challenges of the workplace. As a HR professional, I am responsible for the promotion and maintenance of the company culture. I am also responsible for the full range of HR, training, and safety functions of the company. As an experienced trainer and professional coach, I am especially intrigued by assisting professionals and corporations reach the next level of development in their professional journey. My department takes the lead role in corporate organizational development and talent management.
