JETCO seeks to increase trade between UK and India within the Education and Skills Sector. The role of chairman was to meet with the minister and his advisory team to recommend and agree an agenda focused on increasing bi lateral trade between UK and India. The identification of barriers to growth and negotiating international solutions was key to the process. Chairing the meeting with ministers from the UK and India alongside senior civil servants enabled me to drive the agenda towards closer collaboration and partnerships between UK and Indian skills, education and university. This has resulted significant new commercial relationships, new orders, increased market share and market entry for many UK companies. My network in India within the skills/education and government sectors covers the whole of India. My commercial interests now expand outside the skills/education sector and I have business interests across India.

I am delighted to be invited to join the board of Transformance as we develop our global business to support SMEs with high quality business consulting advice. This business utilises technology to reduce the cost of delivery which enhancing the value of the advice. I am thrilled to be working with the founder Michael Walters and V.Shatakumar ex Chairman & CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi India. I am delighted to accept the appointment from Lord Marland and the board of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council to take on the role of Chairman for the Commonwealth Skills Forum. This is a great opportunity to bring together the governments, training organisations, staff and students to look, research, debate, design and implement best practice in the area of vocational skills. We have set up a Linkedin Group called Commonwealth Skills Forum and I invite you all to join the group, comment and post your own original thought pieces. Central to CWEIC’s work is the understanding that businesses require a set of values under which trade and investment can take place; transparency; good governance; respect for the rule of law; enforceable physical and intellectual property rights; equal opportunities and a diverse workforce and an overarching understanding that financial probity from government and the private sector is key to a flourishing business environment. CWEIC is the apex organisation representing private sector businesses within the Commonwealth and is the only institution with a remit to promote intra-Commonwealth trade and investment. The CWEIC is also responsible for organising the Commonwealth Business Forum alongside the biennial Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

What We Do; At Extremis Technology we put displaced people around the world at the heart of everything we do. Since our company was established, our team of engineers and entrepreneurs has worked tirelessly, developing a range of revolutionary new shelters that are designed specifically for disaster relief.
