* Supervise, train and mentor drill crew to work safely and efficiently. * Responsible for drilling up to 20,000 feet of various earth formations by operating a computer system with delta-p, bit weight, torque, and pressure. * Staying attentive to and acting on any well control situation like as in H2S returning to surface. * Required to know mathematical formulas and calculations. * Responsible for maintaining a 12 hour log on daily crew operations.

* Rack back/run in drill pipe and other drilling tools from derrick board * Observe formation cuttings shape, size, and edges * Observe and control drill mud characteristics such the Ph, viscosity, weight, yield point, solids, etc. * Inspect, maintain, and on mud pumps periodically or when service is needed * Supervise over drill crew * Ensure and enforce all company policies and procedures * Operate drill equipment as per H&P and contractor

* Monitor trip tank volume during trips in and out the hole * Observe formation cuttings shape, size, and edges * Keep drill rig clean from trash and drilling fluids * Keep work area free of any unmanaged hazards * Responsible for transferring drilling fluid from pit to pit

* Responsible for cleaning drill rig by scrubbing and mopping * Responsible for unloading supply boats with crane operator * Responsible for relieving floorhands for lunch breaks * Helped crane operator move equipment around the drill rig

* Assist the driller in drilling and tripping operations. * Train and mentor drill crew and roustabout crew safely in everyday rig operations. * Supervise the offloading of supply trucks with cranes. * Assist rig mechanic and electrician with daily equipment maintenance. * Maintain organization of supply's and equipment around the rig and location.
