Digital Artist. Global Educator. Media Developer. Roy Dean's inspiring videos have unlocked the mysteries of jiu jitsu for people around the world. His technical training is extensive, graduating from UCSD's ICAM program, and has professionally served as a sound designer, composer, video editor, app developer, and brand advisor. His physical education is also well rounded, holding first degree black belts in Kodokan Judo and Aikikai Aikido, and third degree black belts in Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Dean has written about his adventures in two books, "The Martial Apprentice" and "Becoming the Black Belt." He is currently working with Aikido Journal to produce top flight content for their Aikido Journal Academy. It's his distinct pleasure to be an ambassador for jiu jitsu, and to place it in the best light possible through the use of technology.
