• Investigated spring forest bee community response to timber harvest strategies at 34 field sites throughout New England (CT, MA, VT, NH, ME) as part of a two-person technician team. • Managed data entry and specimen processing across multiple projects, including training and coordination of undergraduate researchers and regular communication with supervisors about progress. • Collected 7,000+ bees in pan traps and processed all specimens, identifying to species or genus; measured covariate data (basal area, ground cover, floral richness); and maintained organized physical and digital files. • Contributed to weekly lab meetings and paper discussion group, critically considering research questions, methods, and manuscripts.

• Collaborated with crew leads, crewmates, and scientists and worked independently to conduct fieldwork and benchwork studying plant and insect interactions in sagebrush steppe ecosystem • Implemented pioneering techniques in vegetative restoration of native bunchgrasses by collecting, preparing, planting, and monitoring more than 2,500 plots across multiple sites in the high desert and alpine forest • Entered data, performed quality analysis/quality control, and managed project workflow using Microsoft Suite • Conducted literature review and completed independent data analysis in R and communicated findings of independent project to fellow technicians and visiting scientists

• Conducted conservation easement monitoring of 20+ properties by contacting landowners, identifying areas of concern, and surveying on foot to ensure easement terms were upheld across thousands of acres • Recorded monitoring issues, trails, etc., with handheld GPS unit and maintained written notes • Used ArcGIS to integrate collected data into maps of each easement; cultivated organized files and geodatabase • Evaluated easement properties in written reports and communicated with supervisor and stakeholders

• Collaborated with team of 4-25 people, working closely with 3 fellow crew members and partnering with supervisors, volunteers, and project partners • Led weeklong projects, including coordinating logistics, setting expectations, and communicating with supervisors to execute trail maintenance and improvement projects to high standards • Upheld safety practices on crew • Represented the Appalachian Mountain Club and our work to members of the public

• Conducted biological field work, cataloguing and diagramming local species using ArcGIS and community science tools like iNaturalist • Compiled information into free field guide to increase accessibility of ecological awareness

• Conducted laboratory and field research in collaboration with a professor and two grad students • Designed experimental procedure to assess house sparrow stress response to synthetic glucocorticoids • Presented PowerPoint of results to the public and answered audience questions in an accessible manner
