Having started his career over 35 years ago in Sydney Ross now runs a successful commercial advertising studio on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. As a regional photographer he understands the challenges of those working in regional areas. According to Ross “Working” in today’s market requires multiple skill sets but above all it needs an ability to work with clients, understand their product and communicate their message. If I meet their expectations they are happy if I exceed their expectations I’m happy”. Ross is an advocate for industry standards, a past board member and National president of the AIPP and was awarded an Honorary Life Member for contributions to the photographic industry.
