Handling personally over 80+ I-140 and I-129 Requests for Evidence (RFE), Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID), I-140 refile cases, and 1-140 initial filing cases at a time in the EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW and O-1A categories for clients from time of notice to adjudication of the case. Previously handled over 200+ cases at a time as well as several teams of legal writers throughout the case preparation process from retainment to adjudication of the case before promotion to specializing in handling in RFEs, refile cases, and difficult cases. Successfully obtained approval for over 350+ RFE clients, including upon appeal to the AAO, as well as approval for 100s of additional initial and refile I-140 and I-129 clients. Counseling clients on diverse, urgent, and complex nonimmigrant visa issues as they intersect with the employment-based green card application process, including providing support after approval Providing guidance on nonimmigrant visa and employment-based immigration issues to other attorneys at the firm due to greater expertise, including potential RFE triggers, case strength, and adjudication trends. Training attorneys new to the RFE department and continuing to act as a resource for guidance, feedback, and discussion post-training. Performing last stage review of RFE response packages, immigration forms, and support staff communications with clients. Previously conducted preliminary evaluations of potential client cases and handled assessments of atypical cases.

Handled evidence acquisition, research, and preparation for a complex, high-stakes, and highly publicized healthcare antitrust case within an expansive universe of documents spanning several decades – first as a staff attorney, and later as an acting managing attorney. Performed evidence data analysis, trend analytics, second-level privilege determination and witness deposition preparation as point of contact reporting directly to responsible partner at client firm to close out a long running (3+ years) project. Conducted in-depth ad-hoc research and analysis independently regarding factual and legal issues, privilege log challenges, opposing counsel evidence productions, and other issues upon request. Preparing sets of documents on a variety of topics for witness preparation while responding to follow up requests and flagging hot documents on a tight deposition schedule for several witnesses. Utilized Relativity to analyze health insurance, corporation merger and ERISA dispute related documents. Performed privilege and quality control functions, including privilege quality control and creating an electronic privilege log for each document considered privileged

Utilizing Relativity to analyze contracts, memoranda, financials, strategy and other documents for responsiveness, issue codes, privilege and confidentiality on a variety of cases, including antitrust, health insurance, intellectual property and contract disputes as well as fraud. Performing intermediate level review activities, including second pass privilege, privilege quality control, creating an electronic privilege log, redactions, pre-production quality control, protocol quality assurance, fact research, issue searches, hot document validation as well as working on other special projects at the project manager's direction. Performed quality control work on other's attorneys work, including batch QC and document trend analysis to support project manager as necessary. Represented clients in the mortgage foreclosure mediation process under a 711 license. Interviewed clients and collected documents and information in order to analyze claims and circumstances as well as present them their options. Represented clients in communications and negotiations with opposing counsel, HUD and lending organizations. Wrote appeals and motions as well as submitted loan modifications on behalf of client. Facilitated settlement negotiations as necessary.
