Utilized Kraken 2, PCA, and other Python tools to analyze cancer patient's microbiome in the context of their genomic, transcriptomic, and clinical data.

Utilized Sunbeam, Bowtie2, Telescope, and various analyses to understand the human endogenous retrovirus profile of patients with aplastic anemia. This project was completed as part of the Cancer-focused Summer Undergraduate Research (CanSUR) Program at CWRU.

Completed my own project, a group project, and lab activities such as standup goal setting and journal club. My own project involved the creation of a generalizable machine-learning model that classifies cell nuclei images into their mitotic stage. The group project involved the creation of a software tool that compiles all the steps of a typical image-based cell profiling workflow, including data downloading, processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and feature compilation, into one streaming program.
