I am an attorney, writer, researcher, and investigator specializing in human rights, immigration, and environmental law in the deep south. I currently represent clients in immigration detention. I have successfully investigated and litigated environmental cases facing multinational corporations and cases holding state actors responsible for civil rights and due process violations. My practice has spanned common law and civil code legal systems. In law school I earned a certificate in International and Comparative Law, and was an editor for the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. While in law school, I worked in international criminal law in Cambodia and the Hague. I speak Spanish, and have lived and worked across six continents, including in different countries in Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. I am admitted to practice in the Executive Office for Immigration Review, all federal and state courts of Louisiana, and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
