* Establish priorities and job assignments. * Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, and provide feedback, and assist, coach, redirect, and discipline as needed. * Maintain records, manage budgets and supplies. * Conduct regular rounds to monitor and ensure quality care. * Monitor care activities and documentation to ensure the delivery of nursing care according to the hospital policies and standards. * Develop and maintain nursing care objectives and standards of nursing care practices. * Plan, organize and direct in cooperation with the Director of Nursing for effective administration of Nursing Directorate.
