In the 25 years of government service at the Department of Veterans Affairs, my span of knowledge and experience in budget analysis, formulation, execution and policy is throughout the vast three major administrations of healthcare, benefits, and cemetery services; the enterprise level Office of Information and Technology; and the headquarter's staff offices. In addition, I've also had hands on experience in the federal budget appropriation process from both the executive and legislative branch in congressional tracking of legislation at the department level and detailed assignment at both the House and Senate subcommittees on appropriations for the VA.
