Ensure immediate national and international protection to refugees and unaccompanied minors at hotspot, harbours and landing points through legal advices and individual interviews; - Provide general counselling in order to protect vulnerable migrant children from risks of trafficking and serious labour and sexual exploitation through legal assistance and information; - Provide information, training sessions and capacity building to various stakeholders involved in the first reception of “mixed flows” including institutional actors at national and international level.

Interviewing victims of human rights abuses, extensive legal research and writing in the areas of access of justice and conflict across 26 districts in Uganda under a baseline assessment preceding implementation of the USAID-funded Supporting Access to Justice Fostering Equity and Peace (SAFE) Project. Extensive legal research in the areas of access to justice and peace and reconciliation related to legal and judicial reform in Uganda and the greater sub-Saharan African region, with a special focus on the implementation of core rule of law principles. Development of a training program designed by the Institute for the Judges and Deputy Registrar of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) on “Interpreting the Rights and Freedoms in the EAC Treaty and Common Market Protocol and Managing Choice of Law”.

Conducting legal researches and writings as academic support to international expertises and professors in charge of delivering courses within the UNITAR’s International Law Programme; - Developing learning material and case studies for the course of the “Law of International Organizations” held in collaboration with the VU Law University of Amsterdam; - Drafting courses’ Final Activity Reports by developing questionnaires and analysing surveys’ results.

* Facilitator / moderator of the "Introductory e-Course to the Global Commons" jointly organized by UNITAR and University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. * Legal researches and writings on topics related to international public law. * Launch and implementation of the UNITAR's International Law Program courses.

Monitor ICC situation country/regional discussions, including peace keeping mandates, AU, AU Peace and Security (PSC) decisions, reports and press. - Conduct legal, political research; draft statements, position papers, letters to UN states parties or AU member states aimed at influencing policy. - Attending any relevant meetings in the interest of the organization including UN Security Council consultations, UN General Assembly meetings and the ICC Assembly of States Parties meeting at the United Nations Hq.

This program gave me a unique insight into the activities and policies of the UN, International Organisations (IOs), and the mechanisms and procedures of international tribunals, providing with the expertise required for working in the area of international crime. My final thesis dissertation was on “Migration and infringement of human rights: the European case”. Activities and Societies: Moot Court on issues related to the ICC (Command Responsibility and Responsibility of Private Military Contractors).
