As a UK and European trade mark attorney I help companies protect, acquire, capitalise and enforce their brands. My main goal is to be viewed as "part of the team" despite being an external attorney. I endeavour to fully understand individual business needs and consider the commercial realities to provide the best possible individually tailored IP advice. Specialities: Working working closely with clients, providing practical advice and illustrating the value this can add to their business. I also advise on whether a trade mark is available to use and register, the interplay between trade marks and registered designs which is becoming increasingly important in the fight against copycat products. I undertake strategic audits of IP rights to ensure the business needs are adequately protected. I instigate or defend trade mark opposition and undertake trade mark infringement work.
