* I supervised the reading room of this reference library. * I answered written and telephoned enquiries. * I fetched books from the closed stock. * I carried out photocopying requests. * I also carried out conservation tasks on our old books and archival material.

I worked on the Information desk, issuing, returning and renewing books. I worked with the Serials and Document Supply team with responsibility for the binding of journal volumes.

* I worked on the help desk. * I fetched books from the closed collections, and carried out photocopy requests. * I spent 4 months with the cataloguing team, cataloguing exhibition catalogues and downloading OCLC records for other items. * I spent 4 months with the Public Access team, answering written enquiries. * I spent 4 months with the Acquisitions team, processing book orders and receiving new books and processing them.

* I provide support for the faculty of Business, managing the resources budget, book stock, journals and databases. * I teach and train students in information skills as part of their academic courses, including developing teaching materials for sessions. I have developed online tutorials in Moodle for information skills training. * I support researchers and academics in systematic reviews by writing search strategies or training them in searching systematically. * I represent the library on programme committees and inter-departmental groups and I am the academic liaison for the library. * I previously supported the school of Health and Social Care at the University of Greenwich in the same role.

I was employed at the University of Greenwich. I supported students on the enquiry desk and with information skills training in classroom-based sessions. I provided support for the school of Education by managing the book stock. This involved some checking of reading lists and recommending books to order.
