Responsible for the planned, remedial and corrective mechanical maintenance of pumps, fire drivers, diesel engines. emergency generators, gas power turbines, compressors, gas and oil cooling systems and utility equipment, valves and Hp lines and all mechanical aspects of a production platform.

General engine room duties. Which entailed the everyday up keep of the main engines and generators (Caterpillar)and other auxillary equipment.

Currently upgrading the drilling package and overhauling the mud system as well as other issues along the way both mechanical and hydraulic.

After being made redundant from the offshore Oil &Gas industry I found myself just falling back into driving and maintaining heavy goods vehicles.There is no point in sitting around waiting for the industry to pick up. This doesn't pay the bills. In between this i am trying to seek other offshore opportunities within the offshore industry.Self funding other relevant course for my own personal development.

Planned and routine maintenance of all NOV drilling equipment.Permit to work and Isolations,Task based risk assessments.Fire team member.Assist subsea department with man riding operations and the installation of mux cables and hot lines in moonpool. Assist the day/night welder with the planning of jobs to be completed around the rig and to make sure that all relevant paperwork is in place.

Commissioning of Sevan Developer a sixth generation semi submersible ultra deep water rig. Currently on a 6th generation dual activity drill ship West Carina.
