Ronan Gibbons

As the Social Chair of the Bucknell Men’s Rugby team, leadership and communication are essential. My role is to coordinate, plan, and monitor events hosted by the team both on and off campus. This includes communicating and planning events with other clubs and Greek organizations while also managing the venue, music, and other parts of these events. Furthermore, being elected to this position has placed me in a leadership role where I am able to communicate with our president and other officers.

Assisted customers in picking different vitamins and supplements, and used sales, negotiation, and communication skills to sell more products to more customers.

As a team member, we must work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and high-stress environment to get orders out on time. This job taught me to work with a team in a high-speed environment. Additionally, it taught me how to get through high-pressure and high-stress moments where effort and perfection are required.

I was elected as one of the Bucknell Men's Rugby Club's Social Chair positions. This position requires skills in communication, management, coordination, and teamwork.

I was awarded a four-year varsity letter for the Upper Saint Clair Boys Tennis Team and was selected to serve as the 2024 varsity captain. For the Upper Saint Clair Boys Wrestling Team, I was awarded a three-year varsity letter, served as the 2024 captain, and was awarded the most valuable wrestler. I also held a leadership position in our Business & Finance Club. Additionally, I was a member of the Kids Helping Kids Club. I was selected as the 2024 Student-Athlete of the Year.
