-Responsible for over US$ 250 million in Direct Purchases going into Seeds Business, supporting contracting Growers for Corn, Soybean, Sunflower, and Wheat, in Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico, as well as all Field Services, Field Chemicals, and Packaging. - Started a dedicated Procurement area with 100% focus on Seeds Business and deep know-how of Agriculture E2E, commodities, planting, harvest, processing, bagging, and treating, until the final customer- farmers. - Contract negotiations from definition to deal signature, close loop with Legal Team for documentation design of Sole Sourcing / Single Sourcing situations, built to suit manufacturing sites resulting in ellaborated long term relatioship (3 to 5 years), exit clauses, penalties and obligations, minimum volumes, protecting key areas such as IP, insurances as well as price formulas, finding business and legal language to foster collaboration, maintaining a strong and balanced position. - ESG - Scope 3 assesment using MS Forms, with more than 30 key Strategic Suppliers to define road map for reductions and set targets, sustainability best practices and benchmarkings. - Process review and implementation for Grains Sale (Corn and Soy) placing automation via SmartSheets and workflow validation between all areas, credit, finance, production, procurement, tax, resulting in 44% reduction in workload, faster decisions and increased transparency and compliance. - Budget and Gross Profit Impact monitored using Cost Drivers based on price formulas (GEP) with real time data and indicators, market demand and capacity availability. - Supplier and Toller Evaluation gathering data from each year campaign, connecting segmentation, quality, production, finance, process and documentation, procurement data all in one report and using Smartsheets to speed up data colletion from more than 40 vendors, and many internal areas , real time.
