Ron Lauber

As a bicycling industry sales representative in Northern California, I have spent over twenty years in bike shops in the territory. I started working in this territory as a factory representative for Advanced Sports back in 2005 and grew it from $300,000 to over $2 million in revenue in 7 years. During my initial 6 1/2 years with ASI, I achieved year-over-year growth in this territory through my tenure. This is something most sales reps cannot say. I've accomplished this amazing growth through hard work, deep product knowledge, and a passion for cycling. I am respected by shops here as they know that I am dedicated to finding solutions to problems that benefit both the company and the customer and by participating in their events and clinics to help them to achieve more successful. Beginning in 2011, I became an independent rep and formed the Lauber Cycling Group, representing lines such as Pivot, Linus, Sidi, Reynolds, Cat-eye, and Troy Lee Designs to name a few. Each of the lines that I represent in the territory have achieved growth in double and triple digits. Currently, I represent Bike Co, Mavic, SILCA, MagicShine,and Santini. To tell you a bit about me, I've been in and around cycling since 1982, as an amateur road cyclist so I understand what motivates shop owners. Additionally, I had positions with the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the Goodwill Games in NYC. And I've supplemented my enthusiasm for cycling with a BS degree in business.
