Manages the safe, reliable & economical Operations of Power Plants under the Masbate Area (14.4 MW Diesel Power Plant Barge 105, 2.5 MW Masbate Diesel Power Plant, 2.0MW Ticao Diesel Power Plant, Burias Diesel Power Plant and Mini Grid, Masbate Mini Grid, and Masbate PRES Mini Grid).

Manages the effective, efficient, reliable and safe Power Plant operations and quality service within the assigned area.

Supervise efficient Operations and the conduct of Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance of Gas Turbine Power Plant Barge 208.

* Supervise all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities of the Power Plant. * Prepares Annual Maintenance Programs, Budgetary proposals and cost reduction plans. * Conduct studies on Main Generator Engines and auxiliary equipment and apply modern trend/methods of increasing efficiency through implementation of Managed Maintenance Program and/or Reliability Centered Maintenance.. * Supervise commissioning of units after Major Overhauls.

* Supervise efficient power plant operations. * Analyze and recommends budgetary requirements for operation, revision or improvement of the Power Plant. * Prepares monthly operational reports.

* Administers the safe ,reliable efficient and economical operations of the Power Plant. * Prepares annual budget and effective financial and manpower work schedules.

* Supervises start-up and shutdown of Main Diesel Engines and Auxiliaries, Surveillance of running units, Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of abnormalities and initiate remedial measures to prevent outages. * Supervise receiving of bunker fuel, diesel fuel, lubricating oil and water for Power Plant operations. * Supervise ballasting/deballasting and trim correction of the Power Plant Barge.
