Within my first year, I built and scaled the organization’s first global executive protection and protective services program from the ground up for leadership at one of the world’s leading AI research labs. What began as direct support for the CEO rapidly evolved into a multi-layered global protective services operation supporting founders, C-suite executives, and their families across domestic and international environments. Key accomplishments include: • Established and scaled 8 full-time executive protection and residential security programs supporting global executive operations and high-profile engagements. • Built and oversee a globally deployed team of approximately 40 executive protection professionals, implementing operational standards, training programs, SOPs, and crisis response frameworks. • Designed enterprise-level protective services infrastructure integrating executive protection, residential security, protective intelligence, travel risk management, GSOC coordination, and emergency response operations. • Led IRS Section 132 security program compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and multi million dollar security spend management in partnership with Legal, Finance, and external consultants. • Directed residential security assessments, physical security upgrades, privacy protection strategies, and executive estate security initiatives for new and existing residences. • Developed executive-focused protection models balancing operational effectiveness, privacy, executive experience, and financial stewardship in one of the fastest-scaling and highest-profile industries globally. • Built cross-functional partnerships with executive leadership, family offices, Legal, HR, GSOC, Protective Intelligence, and domestic/international law enforcement and security partners to support global operations and emerging threat mitigation.

In this role I will design, develop, and lead the Executive Protection and Corporate Security Programs that protects our people, assets, and operations globally. This role involves creating and implementing strategic security policies, protocols, and risk mitigation measures. As a senior leader, I report to the CEO Chief of Staff, working closely with the Chief Legal Officer and Executive Leadership Team to foster a culture of security awareness, preparedness, and resilience throughout the organization. • Lead the build and design of a comprehensive global security operation, encompassing Executive Protection, Threat Management, Personnel Safety, Site Security, GSOC, Event Security, Travel Security and Protective Intelligence. • Build and develop the Executive Protection Programs for the C-Suite, Founders, CEO and Family Office. • Present business cases to the Executive Leadership Team, articulating risks and recommendations for security investments and priorities. Providing strategic direction for budgets and physical security operations. • Ensure corporate security policies, procedures, and programs adhere to Databricks duty of care, industry standards, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines. • Manage vendor staff, contracts, digital monitoring tools, and security standards to maintain effective security operations.

In this role, I am charged with developing and implementing the first Global Executive Protection and Event Security Programs. Collaborating with Global Brands and the Events Planning Team on developing the security operational plans for all Pinterest events globally while managing logistics, emergency response and security. • Coordinate and implement protective measures for all Pinterest Executives and other employees as assigned, on domestic and international travel. • Conduct security and vulnerability assessments, create and establish SOP's and protocols for executive protection and event security. • Identify and implement solutions to improve and enhance policies, programs, and processes. • Managing Pinterest’s global employee travel security, threat management, executive and event security programs across international environments. • Conduct security planning and briefings, advances, secure transportation, close protection and residential security. • Oversee supplier MSA’s and SOW’s. Manage supplier contracts, budget, vendor onboarding, RFIs and RFPs reviews. • Work cross functionally with Threat Intel, Systems Security, GSOC and RSOC on integrating protective intelligence into operational planning. • Stay current with California law, legal and regulatory requirements for the security industry.

I partner with seasoned security and intelligence professionals across multiple disciplines and leverage MSFT’s world-class products & services to develop and deliver innovative and industry leading close protection and physical security solutions, while working in a close, team-oriented, inclusive and diverse environment. • Providing close protection and other security-related functions for MSFT executive designates. • Develop and implement complete security and logistical plans for domestic and international travel. • Manage security suppliers in operational support capacities to ensure mission objectives are being met, including quality of service, delivery, pricing, reporting and customer satisfaction. • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with executive teams, public and private sector partners as part of EPU’s overall strategic plan. In this position I have regular contact with all levels of Microsoft executives, managers, employees, local and federal law enforcement agencies, temporary agency and MSFT suppliers. • Maintain an alert state of mind and physical fitness to be able to quickly respond appropriately and skillfully to all known or perceived threats.

Combat Engineer (12B), Route Clearance (RCP) - Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) and Quick Reaction Force (QRF) to assist, recover and clear secondary IED's (Improvised Explosive Device). Combat Engineers: 12b Are experts in offensive and defensive combat engineering, including demolitions, explosives, and improvised munitions. Demolitions: 12b carry out demolition raids against strategic enemy targets, such as railroads, fuel depots, and bridges. Reconnaissance & Target Analysis: 12b conduct target reconnaissance and analyze targets for demolition operations.

Developed and led overseas security programs of high level static and mobile security services for US Government Officials, Non-Governmental Organizations, Multinational Corporations and a host of other public figures in high conflict areas. Managed projects and programs for major events, residential security and corporate operations. Surveillance detection enablement and counter surveillance programs. Planned daily movements and operation orders to conduct armed and unarmed protection details. Implemented new policies and improve the efficiency of protective details and client service. High volume travel both CONUS and OCONUS on protective and recovery assignments.

Throughout this time I worked as a contractor for an array of LA based FHOs, providing executive protection services. • I played several key roles as Head of Family Security for (UHNWF), Detail Leader, EP Agent, Driver. •Managed and coordinated all security measures directly for the Artist Family office on music and media tours for venues of 20,000+ attendees. •Traveled extensively domestically and internationally on location and in studio. •Worked directly with Talent, Production, VIPs and outside Security Teams to ensure the safety and protection while on and off set. •Coordinated logistics for Talent, Production and other VIP visits. To include organizing flights private and commercial, vehicles, hotels, managing call sheets and transportation of equipment. •Supervised 15 traveling security agents plus local agents depending on location. •Liaison with local, state, federal law enforcement and venue security.

Provided executive protection, daily operation plans and other security services for the CEO and Family globally.
