• Spearheading the following responsibilities: o Fabrication of Pressure vessels and process equipment’s, heavy structures like Cold Box, Tank Shells, Cryogenic Vessels, Cryogenic Pump Ducts, Pipe Racks, etc. o Handling activities of quality control of process equipment as per relevant codes and QA/QC of construction, piping and of structure of Air Separation Plant • Accountable for reviewing radiography reports, identifying improvement in elective areas and initiating change management initiatives to achieve cost savings in erection & fabrication • Generating documents such as QA, WPS, PQR, WPQ, LHS, MHS, Alignment Report, DP and RT Report, Mechanical Clearance Report, Hydro & Pneumatic Test Reports, etc. • Carrying out inspection of: o Material, Visual & DP Test of Weld Joint, Loop Inspection before Hydro & Pneumatic Test and giving mechanical clearance for testing o Blasting & painting & insulation of vessels, cryogenic tanks, piping and structure • Involved in applying special cleaning procedure for oxygen service • Administering the operations of preparing blowing &blasting circuits and execution for the same during commissioning activities • Responsible for supervising over structural subcontractor activities which includes; foreseeing of arising problems, performing process inspection & pre &post inspection and providing guidance for fabrication and erection methods • Managing the activities of execution of the modification over the existing piping for smoothening and cost reduction
