As a dedicated and hands-on Safety Administrator with a background in mechanical supervision and heavy-duty operations, I bring a strong mix of leadership, technical skills, and safety compliance expertise to the table. My career began with WHD earthworks in December 2022, when I stepped into the role of Workshop Manager/Supervisor, leading a team of 18 crew members, including truck drivers and machinery operators. I was responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, attending to field breakdowns, performing both basic and complex repairs, and ensuring all vehicles and machinery were kept in peak condition. I actively participated in truck and engine rebuilds, resprays, and operated equipment myself when needed, demonstrating my commitment to leading by example. In March 2025, I joined EDG as a Safety Administrator, where I currently ensure compliance with safety regulations and mining standards. My role includes conducting inspections, compiling safety files, delivering and signing off of important documentation, performing first aid during emergencies, and participating in monthly safety meetings as the site’s Safety Representative. I am passionate about fostering a safe and proactive work culture, building safety systems that are both effective and compliant. With a solid foundation in field operations and a deep understanding of safety standards, I strive to make workplaces safer, more efficient, and regulation-ready.
