• Analysed large sets of data obtained from the UK Genotyping and Phenotyping of Platelets study to determine if a significant proportion of women with menorrhagia have a previously undiagnosed platelet function defect. • Collaborated with researchers, patients, and clinicians to collect data from menorrhagia patients developing excellent communication skills • Performed data entry and data analysis by the use of several analytical packages including GraphPad Prism, SPSS, and Excel allowing me to develop excellent computer and analytical skills • Co-ordinated data, maintained comprehensive records, and databases developing outstanding attention to detail and time management skills

I have undertaken an 8 weeks summer lab project in a cancer research lab investigate the impact of Epstein–Barr virus on the phenotype and function of transformed T cells isolated from skin lesions of Mycosis fungoides patients. This experience has given me a huge insight into research, it enabled me to attend weekly external seminars provided by national and international experts in a range of cancer and immunology-related areas. It has also allowed me to become proficient in a number of laboratory techniques as well as further developing my skills in scientific writing, presentation and discussion.

Main roles included checkout operator, processing refunds/returns and being a store greeter. Efficiency, team work, task management as well as working under pressure are some of the skills which I acquired during this job
