Rohit Ramakrishnan

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at QOSMIC - a deep tech venture by a team of quantum scientists and satellite engineers with space heritage, based out of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. We are building the optical highway to the cosmos, pioneering next-generation optical and quantum communication infrastructure for space-based applications. Our work encompasses the development of advanced optical ground stations and quantum satellites to enable future quantum communications. As a C V Raman Post Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), I specialise in Photonic Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning, blending theoretical knowledge with experimental and design capabilities. I actively engage with international quantum technology research teams as a researcher and collaborator. Expert in team building and fostering collaborations beyond academic disciplines, geographies, and cultures.
