• Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and MCOS optimization on NPI and Volume products. • Collaborate with design, manufacturing engineers, global product managers, and customer reps to evaluate solutions including re-design, testing and qualifications requirements. • Identify alternate solutions based on critical design parameters and validate Form-Fit-Function impact to assess forward and backward compatibility. • Responsible for working with the sustenance engineering group to develop redesign solutions and coordinate design reviews with offshore design teams/SMEs. • Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, product managers, and other global cross-functional teams/business units to secure adequate inventory based on Supply Vs Demand estimation and product roadmaps. • Adhere to standard corporate procedures, BKMs to execute engineering changes and ensure compliance. • Participate in resolving customer complaints and escalations through root-cause analysis and corrective-preventive actions.

Verify and maintain customer BoM and data integrity. • Cross-referencing of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components/products from the element14 product base and perform competitive analysis. • Upload BoM to ORBIT (Internal ERP system) and track to analyze inquiry to conversation rate. • Assist and provide technical support to Level 1 & 2 technical queries from the customers/internal stakeholders. • Suggestion of the right components/products to the customer by understanding the design intent, technical requirements, and end application. • Attend technical seminars, roadshows to collaborate with customers, industry peers and participate in business promotional, and technical marketing events to generate new leads. • Extraction of part details from manufacturer websites according to the part number, and description, and classifying it with reference to a standard scheme. • Frame & Validate P/n, different component package properties, descriptions, and specifications, Analyze datasheets & OEM websites for RoHS, and lead-free details for EEE components. • Recommend FFF replacements or closest alternates for NRND, EOL, and Obsolete components. • Contact and maintain working relationships with OEMs to fetch key product-specific information, and supplementary details as compared to technical datasheets.

• Design of plant schematics & HMI/GUI logic icons for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for Steam Turbines, Balance of Plant Systems. Preparation of Device list and Material requisition (Bill of Material) in SAP material management module. • Design of electrical schematics and system interconnects for station C&I and Relay panels using AutoCAD based on requirements received from cross-disciplinary teams along with Parametric values verification. • Conduct modular functional test & Address system testing feedback from the Volume Manufacturing to drive rectification actions. • Preparation of wiring table on FOXPRO according to given data. Signal flow diagram creation using MAX-SFD generator tool according to the given datasets. Preparation of manufacturing information document (MID5B) in SAP ERP. • Testing of Signal flow continuation and checking of wiring in DCS panels as per test instructions, signal flow & hardware schematic diagrams. • Conducting High Voltage (HV) / Insulation Resistance (IR) test for station C&I and Relay panels. Test reports preparation, technical write-ups, and other official documents. • Carrying out the functional test of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for Steam Turbines, Steam Generators, and Balance of Plant Systems to verify logical functionality, signal flow, insulation protection, and an indication as per design spec.
