- Structured and led the company’s Mining division (greenfield & brownfield). - Portfolio included ports, processing plants, dams/decommissioning, railways, and mines. - Full lifecycle ownership: feasibility → planning/engineering → permitting → procurement → construction → commissioning. - Delivered with technical compliance, operational efficiency, and risk control, aligned to schedule, budget, safety, and sustainability targets.

• Led all engineering activities for the 11,233 MW Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant, covering basic and executive design as well as technical integration for one of the largest hydroelectric projects in the world. • Directed multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical support for construction, field interfaces, and commissioning activities. • Participated in the monthly Technical Consultants Board of Norte Energia, contributing to strategic decisions on critical technical definitions of the project. • Worked directly with the Independent Engineering team representing project financiers, leading technical discussions, risk mitigation efforts, and compliance with performance requirements. • Ensured technical alignment across design, construction, operations, and regulatory bodies, strengthening constructability, reliability, and overall delivery quality. • Led the governance of interfaces among geology/geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems engineering, ensuring technical coherence and overall project integrity. • Oversaw engineering processes, deliverables, and standards across all project contracts, ensuring schedule adherence and technical compliance.

Led all engineering for the feasibility and pre-auction studies for the São Luiz do Tapajós Hydroelectric Power Plant (8,040 MW), located on the Tapajós River in Pará, Brazil

Led all engineering and support for the construction of the Santo Antonio Hydroelectric Power Plant (3,568MW), located on the Madeira River in Rondônia, Brazil
