I am a horticultural therapist who works at Maggie's Cancer Caring Center, Swansea. I have worked as an employee & voluntarily with the visual impaired & young adults with learning difficulties.I am a self motivated individual who is a good team player & used to dealing with the general public. I have good listening skills & have provided a service to the vulnerable in the community. I am an experienced horticulturalist with car & light commercial vehicle driver skills. My aim is to help the vulnerable using my passion for & the growing of plants to help them participate in the joy of gardening & develop their life skills.

At the heart of Matthew's House is Matt's Cafe, a Real Junk Food Project where guests pay what they can afford for a nutritious meal made from food donated by local food businesses. We support folk who are vulnerable through giving Dignity Packs of essential sanitary items for Women & Men through the Homeless Period Project & will be providing shower & laundry facilities by May 2019. I support this activity by working in the cafe, grounds & supporting the manger in maintenance of the building.
