I took over my dad's business, Belfair Refrigeration, in 2004. Dad was semi-retired and I needed work. Dad graciously spent his summer teaching me the trade and introducing me to people and ways to learn it. Now, many years later, dad goes with me sometimes and its a blessing to share experiences together. As a company we have grown in experience and offerings. We do new construction, remodels, gas lines, duct work, heat pumps and ductless. We are mostly involved in residential but occasionally do commercial. Our companies focus is on individual needs. I have learned over the years that each customer and install is different. Oftentimes, decisions need to be made before and during the work to achieve the best results. Therefore, I am personally involved in each install. To illustrate: Just yesterday a lady called me because another local company and has spent months trying to solve her problem. I know this issue and have ordered the part to fix it. What irritates me is that they told her, after her spending over a thousand dollars, she needed a new system because the present one is 15 years old. It is this kind of inexperience and dishonesty that motivates me to stay small and lean. We are all in this together and need to help each other. We are a Mitsubishi Diamond and Daikin 3-D dealer. We are recommended by our local PUD and, we offer financing and take credit cards.
