Role Overview -Lead enterprise infrastructure strategy while remaining deeply hands-on in architecture, implementation, automation, and troubleshooting. Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, identity, and disaster recovery issues. Own infrastructure direction across on-prem, colocation, and Azure environments while balancing technical risk, security, operational impact, and budget. Hybrid Infrastructure, Azure & DR -Lead the organization’s growth and adoption of Azure, including architecture, design, and integration with existing on-prem infrastructure -Architect hybrid connectivity and identity models spanning on-prem data centers, colocation facilities, Azure, and a dedicated DR site at Equinix -Design and implement disaster recovery strategies leveraging Rubrik, Azure Site Recovery, and Hyper-V replication models -Partner with internal teams and external subject-matter experts to validate architecture, security, and operational readiness Technical Leadership & Architecture -Architect and support enterprise infrastructure spanning compute, storage, identity, backup, monitoring, and virtualization -Hands-on ownership of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and on-prem ADFS as primary identity provider -Lead enterprise backup and DR strategy using Rubrik (VMs, physical systems, SQL), replacing Commvault and IBM Spectrum -Design and operate large-scale storage platforms including Fibre Channel SAN and Dell EMC Isilon (production and DR) -Support server and virtualization platforms across Dell and Lenovo environments Automation & Leadership -Extensive PowerShell automation for infrastructure operations, reporting, and REST API integrations -Manage and mentor a team of 5 engineers while remaining technically embedded -Partner closely with CTO, security, networking, and application teams on infrastructure roadmap, vendor evaluation, and execution

-Led and mentored infrastructure engineering teams while remaining hands-on as a senior engineer -Served as technical lead for enterprise storage, compute, identity, and backup platforms -Designed, implemented, and supported large-scale SAN, file storage, virtualization, and Windows infrastructure -Implemented and supported enterprise backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery initiatives -Developed PowerShell automation for inventory, reporting, and operational efficiency -Partnered with application, security, and networking teams on mission-critical systems -Contributed to infrastructure strategy, budgeting, and evaluation of emerging technologies
