Managing a dynamic clearing and forwarding company with bases in key East African countries. Asset-light but part of a strong group of companies managing yards and fleets across the region.

In charge of the Kenyan operation: imports, exports, transport (approx 40 trucks), oil & gas plus administration and finance for Kenya.

In charge of the road exports, local shunting, Nairobi depot, workshop and warehousing.

In charge of the South Sudan office (clearing, warehousing, transport with a fleet of 12 trucks)

In charge of the road exports from Nairobi into East and South-East Africa. Also managing the local shunting fleet (12 trucks) and Nairobi depot.

Working closely with the Regional Finance Manager and Regional Managing Director to follow-up cost and operational control in 7 countries and total 13 companies that make up the East African region of SDV.

In charge of the SDV-controlled containers on the Northern Corridor (Kenya and its hinterland). Also managing the various depots of SDV in Mombasa and the stevedoring for Delmas shipping line in the port.

In charge of the daily operations and administration of the main SDV fleet operating on the Mombasa – Kampala corridor (100 trucks).

In charge of transit cargo from Mombasa to DRC/Rwanda/Burundi/Sudan through Kampala plus the management of the Kampala-based fleet (25 trucks) on the same routes.

First assignment in SDV Transami Uganda: Various projects in imports/transport that basically formed an introduction into shipping and logistics in Africa.
