I also provide technical field support, reviewing RFIs, vendor documentation, and construction deviations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installations. As Deputy Mechanical Chief Engineer, I perform a functional leadership role, coordinating mechanical engineering activities across projects, reviewing key deliverables, and developing discipline procedures, design guides, and engineering standards. I also assist proposal and business development teams with technical inputs for new projects. Executed CAPEX and OPEX projects in Hydrometallurgical and Concentrator Plants focused on improving equipment reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. - Identified process improvements and developed engineering solutions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. - Managed project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with company standards. - Participated in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings and implemented corrective actions to improve reliability. - Supervised service contracts and technical evaluations, maintaining zero accident performance. Key Achievements: - Redesigned wear components for the Bucketwheel, extending life and reducing maintenance costs. - Developed a new hydraulic line design for Ball Mills, enabling maintenance without plant shutdown. - Redesign the leached tailings reaclaim system, including chutes, conveyor belts, and transport system accessories. - Executed safety-focused piping modifications that eliminated high-risk maintenance activities.

Led the mechanical and structural assembly of the Crushing Plant and Ore Transport project for Minera Antucoya. - Supervised up to 600 field personnel ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule goals. - Coordinated construction activities across civil, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. - Managed equipment, material, and human resources to optimize field execution.
