• Study the Engineering drawings and create a Bill of Materials for Procurement • Understand and Implement Engineering drawings for Installation • Organize crews and resources to complete projects within established policies and procedures. • Determine daily schedules and assignments for work activities, including execution. • Complete projects within strict timeframes and allowed budgets. • Ensure all materials are in hand before scheduled work. • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues. • Fully commission projects including setup of online monitoring of accounts. • Manage on-site technicians, including contractors. • Responsible for all safety aspects at the site, including Safety Walks in the field. • Responsible for all QC activity on site, performing QC Assessments of work by • Technicians

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems, wind turbines, and support structures. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques provided Participate in solar PV project implementation, supervision, monitoring, and de-snagging Carry out technical field visits to provide technical support Create or interpret the solar panel installation plans and mapping out Perform risk assessments and project trials to minimize project risks Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Supervise and participate in electrical installations in BTS sites i.e. grounding, installation of battery banks, diesel generators, lightning arrestors, alarm systems and electric fences.

Pro-active monitoring of fiber related faults on clients' circuits such as Safaricom, Frontier Optical Networks, Kenya Airways etc. in order to ensure timely fault management and achieving SLA time as agreed with the client. Coordinating with field engineers to facilitate support for customer's physical links Off-site customer support on all vertical markets with prominence on the SLA and regular update to the customer on the progress Service provisioning (IP assignment, core network configuration, DNS setup, monitoring and other customer network services) for new customers and circuits according to the requested service and capacity and follow up with the customer on service quality.
