This position involves working from RFUK’s London office to support the implementation of the 2018-2021 Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) project in Africa. Work involves liaising closely with partner organisations in Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo and Cameroon to monitor project activities and extensive overseas travel for up to 12 weeks of the year. RFUK's RTM project involves the development and deployment of ForestLink, a technology which enables communities anywhere in the world to capture and transmit accurately geo-referenced reports of forest illegalities to a central database in real-time, even from areas where there is no mobile phone or internet connectivity.
