I have been using portable CMM’s and laser scanners for over 18 years. At Nikon Metrology, I’m responsible for training on CMM Scanners, portable CMM scanners, optical Krypton scanners, and the software that goes with them including Focus Scan, Focus Inspection, Focus Handheld/Kube, and CMM Manager. I have used these systems on Faro, Romer, MCA, LK, Brown & Sharp, and Mitutoyo. I also support the helpdesk at Nikon for these products. Specialties: Conducting training classes either in a classroom environment or at a customer’s facility, point cloud software, inspection software, creating CAD to Scan or Scan to Scan comparisons and reports, creating macros, setting up coordinate systems, and inspecting features.
