Helped kick off development of the incarnation of Proximus's TV app Pickx at that time, based on a common reusable write-once framework, with a native UI on top per platform.

With the team, kickstarted development of Diddit, the e-learning platform of Uitgeverij VAN IN / Sanoma Learning. Worked full-stack, what I always prefer. Thanks to the Vert.x framework we managed to get great performance with Java even under high load.

Lead dev for multiple clients of Cozmos (part of Cronos) such as KBC, Colruyt, VAN IN and the Royal Belgian Football Association. My job was either designing full-stack solutions from scratch, or figuring out non-trivial cross-stack performance issues. Loved both.

Designed and lead development of the solution to pay via KBC with QR code in Colruyt stores, complete with management back-end, rolled out into production on the cloud. This was before Apple Pay and Payconiq were common. :)

As an iOS expert, with the team, helped a music streaming app move rapidly from a prototype to a fully usable regression-tested app, based on both web technologies and a custom DRM. However, due to market changes at that time, you are now most likely using Spotify. :)

Besides the main job, led the competence center within Ordina for "Digital Experience Management". This was about optimising interactions with the customer on a broad level, and investigating up and coming web technologies on a technical level.

I started off as a consultant at Ordina. I loved working for them since I learned a lot about how the industry works, and I worked with A LOT of different people. So, basically, yes, SOFT SKILLS. :)

Took over development by myself of the iOS version of the incarnation of Proximus's TV app Pickx at that time. Kicked it into shape by making it lean and mean. The add had become slow and sluggish for the user, and hard to maintain for the team.

After integrating a mastodon of a payments platform in existing infrastructure, redesigned it from scratch to make it faster, developed it in-house with the team, leading to far superior performance (think 20 seconds becomes 1 second). It allowed customer's to make mobile payments with their monthly subscriber invoice.
