When joining the boutique staffing agency in 2011 I was tasked with spearheading the development of YORK's interests in the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors. Learning from the knowledge and support of my peers and colleagues I was able to successfully establish recruiting verticals within Engineering, Construction and Technical Operations specialties. Accomplishments: - Assisted in managing one of the busiest rental locations in Canada. - Successful in creating and maintaining repeat business for the location. - Helped maintain a product use percentage of 80% or above. - Congratulated by the founder and president Herb Singer for outstanding effort and hard work which was featured in the biannual company newsletter. - Successfully maintained customer satisfaction at 100% for a number of months as determined by company audit and resulting in repeat customers and recognition for both myself and my team. - Achieved top sales numbers and features as the #1 sales agent in Ontario for the 2008 year. - Successfully signed and maintained new corporate accounts for the company.

In continuing to focus my interests through the study of Literature and Creative Writing, Ryerson's Continuing Education programs have allowed me to attain my most recent certificate in English Literature & Popular culture. The certificate, focusing on both the traditional and contemporary forms allows one to enhance their knowledge of the written word in a scholarly form. As my inspiration has grown I hope to see this as the first step as I continue my pursuit into both the study and practice of creative thinking and artistic creation.

The program, which focused on the ever increasing shift of contemporary art forms to the digital space, allowed for the study of a variety of art forms including traditional life drawing, graphic design, 3D modelling and animation, film editing and compositing with an overall focus on aesthetic design through good story telling.
