Over 35 years of geotechnical engineering working experience with design and construction projects ranging from ground improvement by vibratory ground densification to grouting applications worldwide. Foundation engineering projects includes diaphragm wall construction, mass ground treatment by jet grouting, ground stabilization by void filling and compaction grouting, shoring excavation with tied back anchor, foundation supports by load bearing elements and micro-piles, liquefaction mitigation by vibro compaction and vibro stone columns, planning and execution of site investigation projects. Participated and worked in numerous civil and geotechnical engineering projects in USA, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Canada, Middle East, Japan and Monaco. Experience also includes claim management, dispute resoloution, project finance control, contract management, tender estimates and budget cost analysis, contract negotiation and project acquisition.

Business development - Ground Improvement, specifically vibratory ground densification techniques, counter measure seismic related weak soil conditions, improve load carrying capacity to mitigate ground settlement and strengthen lateral stability of foreshore slope conditions. Performed major vibro densification and Rapid Impact Compaction projects in Dubai and Ras al Khaimah and densified an underwater embankment consisting of 30meter thick of rock fill in Monaco.

Diaphragm wall and barrette construcrion for multilevel high rise structures and subway stations. Ground stabilization for shoring excavation and groundwater control by jet grouting and compensation grouting in urban San Francisco. Also involved in ground improvement projects utilizing vibro densification techniques throughout United States.

Supervised Franki Pile construction for a ready mix concrete plant expansion in Richmond, B.C. Working through soft deltaic deposits to firm bearing dense strata for the pile base. Hard driving by employing top drive diesel hammer for expanded base pile casing.

Performed vibro densification contracts throughout SE Asia including Macau, Hong Kong and Singapore. Also pursued work in Phillipines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Performed geotechnical engineering analysis for airport platform settlement prediction and determined feasibility of using various different reclamation fill materials, site investigation for apron area adjacent to the terminal building, ground improvement design to counter undesired post construction settlement of the apron area for the jet bridge operation, liaised with consultants, construction department and contracts on specification preparation.

Site investigation, sampling, soil laboratory index testing, consolidation test, fojndation desgin ranges from shallow to deep foundations, ground improvement to counter liquefaction, groundwater control. Notable prpjects include Expo 86 in BC, Fraser Landing residential development and No. 3 Road and Westminster Highway high rise construction without preloading.
