As the CRNP in the Cancer Infusion Center and new Acute Care Clinic, my responsibilities include seeing the acutely ill oncology / hematology patients, managing the chairside concerns, formulating a diagnostic impression, communicating with the Physician, Pharmacist, Nursing, and Administrative staff, and implementing appropriate treatment plans. I manage acute infusion reactions, review laboratory results prior to treatment, prescribe medication, manage direct hospital admissions, and make appropriate referrals when needed. I cover for our inpatient Physician/CRNP team and collaborate to support GYN/ONC when needed. I was also part of a multidisciplinary team effort in formulating and implementing a successful evidence based clinical sepsis protocol specific for Oncology patients.

Annual gyn exams, problem visits with initial work-up and screening, preconception counseling, perinatal care, post natal exams, full contraception management including IUD insertion (Mirena/ Paragard/ Skyla), PCOS, women's health education and screening (ages 11-99).
