Grönska offers locally grown vegetables and herbs that are cultivated ​indoors with an innovative growing system. We grow with LED lights and hydroponics in racks; a method also known as vertical farming. Cultivation meets tech. Our vision is to improve the way we consume food by growing locally and producing organic food. We are passionate about the environment and want to contribute to the development of sustainable cities in Sweden. Vertical farming allows us to be very space efficient, and to grow all year round in a sustainable manner. We use no pesticides, less water and less energy than in conventional agriculture. The goal is to provide sustainable, locally produced alternatives to imported vegetables and herbs. We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, and you find our produce at the Paradiset, and soon at Urban Deli and selected Ica stores. Right now we are looking for grants, advisory and all kinds of good tips and inspiration!
